How I came to stocks
By my own study only u2014 not by following anyone, and not by accident. I have been following the markets from my college days onward and made my first investment in the year 2000 in Satyam, Azure, Silverline and HFCL. I learnt it by myself and am still learning.
I have always given preference to my family first, but never gave up through the ups and downs. I stayed with stocks for many years even when it gave no revenue, because I never saw it as revenue. As Buffett says, the best job is doing what we love and sticking to it.
About myself
T.V. Ramana started his passion for stock market investing in the year 2000 with his pocket money after his education, and has been a regular follower of Indian capital and financial markets ever since.
With an overall experience of 20 years as an investor, employee, advisor and stock markets trainer, he offers mutual fund advisory, wealth management and wealth planning advisory services with knowledge, vision, experience and a plan for Indian financial and stock markets.

Two decades in Indian capital markets
After completing his education in 2000, T.V. Ramana began stock market investing with his pocket money while working in education-based jobs, continuing regular market follow-up and analysis from 2000 onwards.
He worked many years at IIFL Securities, one of India’s top stock broking firms, and at two other broking firms as a Relationship Manager and Wealth Management Manager. He stopped working with broking companies in 2010 and has since worked as an independent investment advisor, focused on research, analysis and advisory rather than sales or revenue — in stock markets and mutual fund investments only.
Alongside regular working and learning, he works as a certified investment advisor and presents live TV shows on stock markets and mutual fund investments, along with other financial advisory segments.
He shares 16+ years of experience and knowledge with investors — advising from his own mistakes, the mistakes seen from many investors over the years, and his innovations in Indian stock market investing.
As per the new SEBI guidelines I recently completed required Certification & Exams for Investment Advisory in Indian Stock Markets. SEBI RIA (Registered Investment Advisor) is under process to meet and complete the required regulations and registrations. Even the advisor should have the good Success, Knowledge, Understanding, and Vision with 360 degrees of advisory about the services that they are providing to their clients. I am writing Two Books on equity investment in Indian Stock Markets.
